Autumn Lookbook // feat. Miss Selfridge

Hello everyone!

I was recently gifted some clothing items from Miss Selfridge’s new arrivals for autumn. I thought I would create a lookbook built around these clothing pieces I kindly received. Let’s get straight into it!

Outfit no. I

I’m positive that this is my favourite outfit I’ve ever created. The main items of this outfit are the checked blazer and the hiker boots. As we go with this lookbook, you’ll notice that I wear these boots in every single look. That’s because they go with everything and they are surprisingly comfortable to walk in.

I wanted to keep this outfit very simple in terms of colours. At the same time, I wanted to create a “smart meets edgy” vibe. Therefore, I paired the two items with a simple black roll neck T-shirt from Pull&Bear and a black faux leather skirt from Pretty Little Thing. I accessorised it with a pair of Ray-Ban glasses, an Obaku watch, and a crossbody bag and coin necklaces both from Primark. My favourite addition, however, is the grey sparkly socks from Sinsay.

The second outfit is very cosy because it includes this black teddy coat. To keep the outfit snuggly but interesting in terms of prints, colours, and materials, I combined it with a pair of checkered paper bag trousers from Bershka and a New Look burgundy red blouse.

To style it up a bit more, I added the same Primark crossbody bag from the previous outfit. And of course, the hiker boots.

The third look is built around this cute blush pink puffer jacket. I wanted this outfit to have a bit of an edge to it because once again, I styled it with the same boots and they are rather edgy. Therefore, I paired it with my Forever 21 ripped boyfriend jeans and a pair of fishnet tights underneath. The jeans are quite large for me, so I kept them in place with my River Island belt.

Since adding any more embellishments would make me look overdressed, I wore just a simple black T-shirt from H&M. Even though my intention was to style a “cute outfit with a bit of an edge”, I ended up with an “edgy look with a bit of cuteness”. However, I’m very happy with the final result.

And last but not least, we have these high-waisted skinny jeans. If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you know how much I love high-waisted trousers. I paired them with a striped T-shirt and a black faux fur jacket both from New Look.

I wanted this outfit to be simple in colour, so I experimented with prints and materials. On my head, I’m wearing a baker boy hat from River Island. I also added the set of coin necklaces from Primark, because I style it with almost every outfit. And of course, the black boots once again.

And that’s all I have for this lookbook. I hope you enjoyed and let me know what you think in the comments down below!

See you soon!

xoxo, S. V.
