The Best Fashion Trends of 2017

Hello, everyone!

In the last week’s blog post I was talking about the worst trends of 2017. Today I will be talking about its counterpart, the best trends of 2017 aka the trends I absolutely adored. So, let’s get into it!

Faux Fur

I’m strongly against using real fur for clothing so faux fur is the go-to choice for me. I was in heaven when this trend blew up last year. Suddenly, I was able to get a variety of different faux fur garments which I wasn’t before. I loved wearing faux fur even before, but sometimes it was too had to find a really nice piece of faux fur clothing that would be nice-looking and soft and didn’t feel like a rug.

Faux Leather

Similarly, to fur, I refuse to purchase, use or wear anything made of real leather. But I love wearing faux leather trousers. Before, I would have to go through every single clothes shop to find a decent looking pair of faux leather trousers. And sometimes it would be a fail. I will definitely keep on wearing my faux leather trousers even in 2018.

Ripped Jeans

When I was 17, ripped jeans were the only trousers I was wearing. Then I put them aside for a couple of years. And later in 2017 when I saw ripped jeans everywhere, I recovered them from the back of my wardrobe and started rocking them once again.

Burgundy Red

I tend to stick to black, and soft colours like beige, grey, soft pink, light blue, and white. However, in the autumn I was absolutely obsessed with burgundy. I guess you can recall it from my lookbooks from that time. I still keep wearing a lot of them to this day.

I’ve never been a huge florals fan. But for some reason, the obsession stuck me like a lightning from a clear sky this summer. Suddenly, I had the urge to wear florals all over my body. Although I don’t wear florals as much at the moment, I’m pretty sure I will when spring is back.

So, these were the trends I enjoyed the best in 2017. I hope you enjoyed this blog post. Don’t forget to check out my YouTube channel! See you soon!
