Not that long ago, I shared with you my confession about being an outfit repeater. Even though I mentioned a lot of my staples in that blog post, I thought I’d share with you all of my clothing pieces I can’t live without at the moment.
Clothing Piece no. I: Black Turtleneck
Yes, the iconic black turtleneck cherished by famous people such as none other than Audrey Hepburn, Steve Jobs, and me! *SARCASM* Well, not really. I do love turtlenecks. Especially in black. You can style them with essentially anything. They are simple, chic, and look good on anyone. They are also the perfect transitional piece. Pull&Bear is my absolute
Clothing Piece no. II: Black Trousers
Do I even have to say anything about them? Same as the turtleneck, you can pair them with literally anything, and you can’t go wrong. I’ve been alternating between two pairs. One of them is a slim fit, and the other one is a pair of wide tapered trousers, both of which I bought in New Look.
Clothing Piece no. III: Black Blazer
I’ve been into that powersuit look lately. It’s incredible how empowered and confident can a piece (or two in this case) make you feel. My black blazer of choice is from New Look and goes perfectly with both of my black pairs of trousers from the same store.
Clothing Piece no. IV: Striped T-shirt
I’ve owned this striped T-shirt from Camaieu for at least five years, and it still fits and is in a very good condition even despite the amount of wear it gets. It goes really well with all of the pieces I’ve already mentioned and is my absolute go-to piece when I don’t know what to wear.
Clothing Piece no. V: Loafers
My 17-year-old self would hate me for wearing loafers. I used to think they were the most hideous shoes to ever be invented, but here I am, seven years later living in loafers. My everyday go-to pair is a Balenciaga dupe from Zara, which I don’t have any photos with just yet. I will link them in the clothing details down below if you’re interested. And stay tuned because I will be styling them very soon. Then I also own a pair of flip-flop loafers from Primark. Loafers are perfect for the transitional period, and they simply look good with everything. They look very chic and are comfortable at the same time.
And these are all of the clothing pieces I can’t live without at the moment. Does this look like a generic French wardrobe? Probably! Am I told a lot that I dress like a French girl? Absolutely! Do I mind it? Not at all!
See you soon!
xoxo, S. V.
