It’s time to continue with my How to Dress According to your Body Shape series. We’ve already talked about the Banana Shape and the Pear Shape, and today we will have a look at the hourglass figure. So let’s get into it!

What to Wear
Simple tops with no added embellishments such as ruffles or bows are your best friends. They should be well-fitted so that they can accentuate your narrow waist. Tops with V-neck will look especially flattering on you. To emphasise your bust even more, you can add a necklace. However, you should stay away from long pendants.
When it comes to your legs, you want to lengthen them. Therefore you should steer clear of fitted trousers. Unless you have really long legs, of course (in which case, feel free to wear them). Other than that, any kind of high-waisted trousers or skirts will look great on you.
If you want to wear a skirt, you have a wide array of cuts to choose from. You can wear pencil skirts as well as flared cuts such as A-line or tulip skirts. The most flattering dresses for you figures are the ones of one colour or with vertical stripes. They will nicely lengthen your body without adding any unnecessary volume. And the most obvious way to add length to your legs is high heels! You can wear them as much as you like if you feel comfortable enough in them.
